Soils and Spirit is a performance, site-specific installation, and participatory experience to bring people closer to the memory, spirit and communication of brutalized, ancient, endangered and disabled living soils.
Soils and Spirit is conceived by interdisciplinary eco-puppetry artist Marina ‘Heron’ Tsaplina to connect people from diverse lineages to the histories and spirits of place.
Begun in 2022, Soils and Spirittakes place on theatrical stages and in site-specific locations of extraction.
